Best Game 2 Player Prop: Donte Divincenzo Three Pointers - Donte Divincenzo
  • The Timberwolves are 7.5 point underdogs tonight after losing Game 1 by 26 points.
  • Donte DiVincenzo has +300 odds to lead Game 2 in three pointers made after attempting 12 threes in Game 1.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals will be played Thursday night at 8:30 PM EST as the Minnesota Timberwolves look to avenge their Game 1 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Timberwolves vs Thunder Game 2 Odds

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Timberwolves +7.5 -115 +240 O 216.0 -110
Thunder -7.5 -105 -290 U 216.0 -110

Legal sports betting sites expect more of the same, listing the Thunder as seven and a half point favorites tonight.

The best bet for this game is the Timberwolves covering the 7.5 point spread at -115 odds.

As previously mentioned, Minnesota led Game 1 at the half, proving that they can compete with this OKC team.

The two teams split the regular season series, going 2-2, and in each Minnesota loss, the margin was eight points or less.

Additionally, the Timberwolves shot 15-51 (29%) from the three point line. It is unlikely for them to shoot so abysmally again.

Oklahoma City also shot 11-21 (52%) from downtown, much higher than their postseason average of 33% as a team.

Even if the Wolves aren’t able to pull off the upset on the road, they should have enough juice to keep the game within eight points.

Bet On DiVincenzo Three Pointers

Donte DiVincenzo played 30 minutes in Game 1, the third most for Minnesota behind Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle.

NBA betting sites give him +110 odds to make more than 2.5 three pointers and +300 odds to make the most three pointers of any player in Game 2.

Julius Randle made the most threes in Game 1 with five, the next closest being DiVincenzo, Edwards, and Alex Caruso with three apiece.

DiVincenzo struggled in Game 1, going 3-14 from the field and 3-12 from the three point line. Overall in these playoffs, he has shot just 32% from the field and 25% from three.

However, he has proven that he can be a solid contributor in the playoffs, averaging just under 18 points per game while shooting 42.5% from three in last season’s postseason run with the Knicks.

It was apparent in Game 1 that OKC’s gameplan was to stop Edwards and Randle at all costs and let the other players make plays, as DiVincenzo had countless open threes that he couldn’t capitalize on.

Expect DiVincenzo to knock down multiple threes tonight and make a push for the most three pointers made in the game.
