MONTE-CARLO – Next up in the F1 schedule is arguably the most famous Formula 1 race of the season, the Monaco Grand Prix, and things have been tightening up towards the top of the odds board.
While Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris have held strong at the top of legal sports betting sites each week, Max Verstappen has joined them near the top ahead of the Monaco GP and is tied for the second shortest odds with Norris.

Verstappen To Build Off Victory?
Through seven races in the F1 season to date, McLaren has stood on business winning five of those races. Those five wins include Oscar Piastri at four and Lando Norris winning one.
However, the other two races that were not won by McLaren were both won by Max Verstappen including last week at the Emilia-Romagna GP where he did so with +500 Formula 1 odds.
Getting back to this week’s race, this is one of the toughest races in F1. Aside from Verstappen winning last week which helped strengthen his odds this week, he is also a two time winner in this specific race. His two wins came in the last four years in 2021 and 2023.
Best Bet To Make?
Being that Verstappen, Norris, and Piastri have taken full control of the top 3 in F1 with 16 combined top-3 finishes this season, there is some tremendous value on each of their odds to finish in third place. Both Verstappen and Norris have +375 odds to be the third place car while Piastri is at +400. A $100 bet on all three of them to finish in third place would leave bettors with at least a $75 profit if one of them were to place third.
