Team Falcons Leads The Way Once Again For ESWC Rocket League
  • Team Falcons enter the Esports World Cup as the favorites to win the Rocket League title after winning the Raleigh Major in June.
  • Team BDS will not participate in the 2025 Esports World Cup after winning last year.

SAUDI ARABIA – The Rocket League tournament at the Esports World Cup is set to begin on Thursday, August 14th and with the reigning champions Team BDS not in the field, it could be anyone’s title to win.

Esports World Cup Rocket League Champion Odds

  • Team Falcons +275
  • Karmine Corp +350
  • Team Vitality +650
  • NRG +700
  • FURIA +800
  • Dignitas +900

Team Falcons have the shortest odds to win the Rocket League title at legal sports betting sites with +275 odds, indicating that this could be a bit of an open competition with multiple teams within striking distance.

Team Falcons has consistently shown to be one of the best Rocket League teams in the world, winning their last six consecutive tournaments, including the 2025 Rocket League Championship Series Raleigh Major in June.

However, they finished fifth at the Birmingham Major and 3rd-4th at last year’s World Championship, but finished second place at last year’s World Cup.

Karmine Corp won the Birmingham Major this year, but recorded a mediocre seventh place finish at the Raleigh Major, a cause for concern entering the World Cup. They finished 3rd-4th at last year’s World Cup and will look to improve on that finish this year with the second shortest odds at esports betting sites.

Team Vitality is a step down at +650 and it has to do with the fact that their success in major tournaments has been quite limited. They finished 5th-8th in last year’s Esports World Cup before finishing 9th-11th at the RLCS World Championship and have not finished better than third in either major they’ve participated in in 2025.

NRG has never participated in the main stage of Rocket League at the Esports World Cup but finished 5th-6th in last year’s North America Community Cup at the World Cup. They finished 3rd-4th in both majors this year after not participating in any majors since 2022.

FURIA has won five of six open events at the Birmingham and Raleigh majors this year, but finished 3rd-4th at Birmingham and 9th-11th at the Raleigh Major, bringing competition into question. They finished 5th-8th at last year’s Esports World Cup.

Dignitas had a surprise breakout at the Raleigh Major, finishing in second place after finishing 9th-11th in the Birmingham Major. They hadn’t competed in a major since 2023 and hadn’t finished better than ninth in any major since 2021.
