PORTLAND, Maine – Maine has become the most recent state to cross an all-time betting handle of $1 billion after their October 2025 revenue numbers were released.

The exact betting handle that they’ve accomplished from legal sports betting is $1,068,367,276. The latest data brings their all time gross revenue number to just over $113 million, with $11.5 million given back to the state in tax benefits.

With a 10.6% hold from legal Maine sportsbooks, players in the state have won $955.3 million from wagers.
