- Team World is favored to win the new NBA All Star Game format.
- Jase Richardson has +200 odds to win the Slam Dunk contest.
- There are +275 odds for Kon Knueppel to win the NBA 3-Point contest.
LOS ANGELES – We have officially reached the midway point of the NBA regular season, which means it is time for All Star Weekend and all of the events that come along with it.
As far as the NBA All Star events go, legal sports betting sites have odds on all of them. That includes the All Star game itself, the slam dunk contest, and 3-point contest.
Starting with the All Star game, it’ll be a new format this season with a round robin in mind. There are three total teams playing, including Team USA Stripes, Team USA Stars, and Team World. The two teams with the best record and point differential will move on to the final. Team World, led by Victor Wembanyama, is favored to win, with Wemby favored to win the MVP.
NBA All Star Game Tournament Winner
- Team World +135
- Team USA Stripes +175
- Team USA Stars +220
NBA All Star MVP
- Victor Wembanyama (SAS) +500
- Luka Doncic (LAL) +1000
- Cade Cunningham (DET) +1100
- Tyrese Maxey (PHI) +1200
- Jaylen Brown (BOS) +1300
- Anthony Edwards (MIN) +1400
NBA Dunk Contest Odds
NBA Dunk Contest Winner
- Jase Richardson (ORL) +200
- Carter Bryant (SAS) +225
- Jaxson Hayes (LAL) +260
- Keshad Johnson (MIA) +350
Rookie, Jase Richardson, is favored here and is a legacy to the event, being that his father, Jason Richardson, is a two-time back-to-back winner in 2002 and 2003.
Looking further down the NBA odds board, Jaxson Hayes is another notable name that stands out given his dunking highlight reel.
The real sleeper here, though, is going to be second-year Miami Heat forward Keshad Johnson. Johnson has had some poster dunks this season that have gone under the radar, given Miami’s lackluster season.
NBA 3-Point Contest Odds
Three Point Contest Winner
- Kon Knueppel (CHA) +275
- Damian Lillard (BOS) +450
- Jamal Murray (DEN) +600
- Donovan Mitchell (CLE) +650
- Tyrese Maxey (PHI) +700
- Devin Booker (PHX) +750
- Norman Powell (MIA) +800
- Bobby Portis (MIL) +1200
Bettors should look no further down the odds board than Kon Knueppel with the shortest, yet extremely valuable odds.
The rookie Hornets guard currently has the third most three pointers made on the season and has broken the rookie record for fastest player to record 100 three pointers. He is also less than 20 three-pointers away from breaking the Hornets rookie record.
