ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – On Wednesday, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa made the announcement for the debut of their permanent sportsbook: Moneyline Bar & Book.
The lounge will come at a cost of $11 million in renovations and is set to open on June 29. Another $1 million was set aside for Level One – a bar and lounge connected to the Moneyline Bar & Book.
In the press release from Borgata, announced are the plans to feature a 40-foot wide by 11.5-foot tall LED video wall with an additional 17 TVs ranging in screen sizes of 86 to 98-inches.
The 8,000-square-foot venue will boast a 35-foot long bar with slot machines built-in for the use of the sports bettors.
“We have maintained a steadfast dedication to property growth and development, and we believe our new concepts confirm our position, said President and COO of Borgata, Marcus Glover.
Other seating options will include u-shaped booths, high top tables (with device charging capabilities), gaming stools, and even a VIP lounge area.
The restaurant’s menu was set by Executive Chef, Tom Biglan. The menu will include fan favorites like a giant Bavarian pretzel with stone ground mustard as well as signature items like braised-sirloin chili and the Moneyline burger. A 24-tap craft beer selection will also be available to complement the savory items.
“We knew we wanted to provide our guests with an experience that was more than a transactional venue for sports wagering,” said Glover.
Betting will be made easy with six betting windows as well as self-service kiosks around the lounge. Aside from the slot machines, four blackjack tables will be in the escalated corridor connecting Moneyline Bar & Book to Level One.
Level One will also feature sofas, lounge chairs, and ottomans within the area’s 3,600-square-foot space. The drink menu was designed by master mixologist, Craig Schoettler, who specializes in one-of-a-kind cocktails.
“We felt Borgata’s guests deserved something that woulyd advance the market by bringing together sports, culinary, entertainment, gaming, and nightlife into a destination experience,” said Glover.
Borgata’s temporary sportsbook has and will remain open until the official launch of their permanent venue.
