Can Pogacar Repeat? Vingegaard Keeps Things Competitive?
The way the odds are coming into this weekend’s race on cycling betting sites suggest a two-man race between Tadej Pogacar and Jonas Vingegaard.
Starting with Pogacar and why he’s the heavy favorite to win — he is the reigning Tour de France winner from last year and has won three of the last five Tour de France races. Pogacar has also been nearly unstoppable in 2025 thus far, participating in 12 races and winning five of them.
As for Vingegaard, he’s won two of the last three Tour de France races and is often considered the biggest threat to Pogacar. However, he has not had the same success in 2025, competing in five races with just one victory.
