All Home Teams Favored Again In NFL Divisional Round

• The Tennessee Titans are 3.5-point favorites over the Cincinnati Bengals.

• The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have -105 odds to cover a field goal over the Los Angeles Rams.
• The Kansas City Chiefs are 2.5-point favorites over the Buffalo Bills.

LAS VEGAS – The Divisional Round of the playoffs will mark the second straight round in which every home is favored.

Home Teams Being Favored Again

The first round of the NFL playoffs saw each and every home team favored and now the same can be said for the next round as just eight teams remain. However, every team is favored by less than a touchdown.

The Tennessee Titans are coming off of a BYE which means they’ve had extra time to prepare for the Cincinnati Bengals and the legal sports betting sites seem to expect that to make a big difference.

The Green Bay Packers are the NFC’s team who is coming off of a BYE and are the biggest favorites of the week in their match against the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers were the only road team to win in the opening round but will have a tough time doing so again.

The defending champions, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, are favored by a field goal over the Los Angeles Rams. Both teams looked impressive in their first playoff game and will now meet each other in the second round.

In what will likely be the most anticipated game of the week, the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs will play one another in the divisional round. The Chiefs are favored by 2.5 points, but the Bills won by 18 points in their first meeting earlier in the season.

Will The Home Teams See More Success?

The 49ers beat the Dallas Cowboys and were the only away team to win in the opening round, but the upcoming matchups will likely see more upsets. As the postseason progresses and only the elite teams remain, the games are naturally going to be more competitive.

The spread of the games indicates that in itself. There were multiple games with two-possession spreads in the opening round while every spread is under a touchdown in the upcoming games. Seeing teams like the Bengals and Bills as underdogs is going to draw a lot of bets and it’s tough to argue against them.
