MIAMI – Week 9 of the NFL season kicks off with the Miami Dolphins hosting the Baltimore Ravens in a clash of two 2-6 teams hoping to keep their seasons alive.
Ravens vs Dolphins Game Odds
| Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ravens | -7.5 (-115) | -440 | O 51.0 (-110) |
| Dolphins | +7.5 (-105) | +330 | U 51.0 (-110) |
Legal sports betting sites favor the Ravens by more than a touchdown on Thursday, in large part due to the return of Lamar Jackson.
Baltimore had gotten off to an abysmal start to the season, losing three of their first four games to go along with Jackson’s hamstring injury that would sideline him for the last three weeks, but looks to get back on track after picking up a win against the Bears this past week.
Miami has looked just as rough, recording just their second win of the season last week as well, taking down the Falcons in a somewhat surprising blowout.
Unlike Baltimore, Miami has been able to score points at a reasonable rate, posting at least 21 points in six of their last seven games.
With Lamar, the Ravens have scored 30+ points in three of four games. Without Lamar, they have scored 10, 17, and 30 points in each of the last three weeks.
Over 51.0 total points (-110) is an easy decision, as both offenses should be near full force against two porous defenses.
As for the outcome of the game, bettors should lean towards Miami to cover the 7.5 point spread. In the last five weeks, they have lost by 8+ points just once, which came against the top overall defense, the Cleveland Browns.
Anytime Touchdown Scorer Odds
- Derrick Henry -250
- De’Von Achane -230
- Zay Flowers +120
- Jaylen Waddle +140
- Lamar Jackson +140
- Mark Andrews +180
Running backs Derrick Henry and De’Von Achane are both expected to find the endzone tonight, according to NFL betting sites.
Henry should be a beneficiary of Jackson’s return, as the offense will be able to move the ball down the field more efficiently, leading to redzone touches.
Achane has just three rushing touchdowns on the season but has four receiving touchdowns, recording at least one touchdown in six of eight games thus far.
Parlaying both to score a touchdown with over 51.0 total points and Dolphins +7.5 gives +1348 odds.
