- Dak Prescott has thrown for over 300 yards in each of his last two games and has -135 odds to record over 267.5 passing yards tonight.
- Jahmyr Gibbs has recorded an 18+ yard carry in three of his last four games and has -115 odds to record a longest carry over 16.5 yards.
DETROIT – Week 14 begins with a Thursday night matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the Detroit Lions, two NFC teams looking to improve their position in the playoff hunt.
Cowboys vs Lions Odds
| Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cowboys | +3.0 (-110) | +135 | O 54.5 (-110) |
| Lions | -3.0 (-110) | -160 | U 54.5 (-110) |
The Lions are three point favorites at home, having won every other of their last eight games for a 4-4 record since Week 5.
Dallas enters Thursday night’s game as one of the hottest teams in the NFL, riding a three game win streak, including a win over the Chiefs on Thanksgiving.

Though legal online sportsbooks have set a high number for Prescott to exceed, he still has shorter odds to cash the over at -135 than to go under 267.5 yards at +105 odds.
Prior to Week 11, Prescott had just two games passing for 268 or more yards, but has cleared that mark in each of his last three games, averaging 314 yards per game while completing 69.4% of his passes during the Cowboys’ current three game win streak.
Detroit’s defense has been in the middle of the pack against the pass this season, allowing 212.5 passing yards per game, tied for the 17th lowest mark in the league.
However, they’ve been subpar in the past few weeks, allowing Jameis Winston to throw for 366 yards in Week 12 and Jordan Love, who hadn’t thrown for 200+ yards since Week 9, to throw for 234 yards in Week 13.
Jahmyr Gibbs Longest Rushing Attempt Over 16.5 Yards (-115)
The Lions’ inability to run the ball efficiently was one of the biggest reasons for their lack of offensive success against the Packers on Thanksgiving, totaling 119 yards on 30 carries.
Jahmyr Gibbs was held to just 68 yards on 20 carries, averaging 3.4 yards per carry.
The last three times that Gibbs has averaged under 4 yards per carry in a game, he has recorded at least 130 rushing yards and 8 yards per carry in the following week.
This could be difficult to maintain against a Cowboys run defense that has been stout since the addition of Quinnen Williams (allowing 69.7 rushing yards per game in their last three), but Gibbs has still shown to be capable of ripping off long runs in games where he struggles, recording an 18 yard carry as his longest last week against Green Bay.
Bet on Gibbs to break off at least one run of 17+ yards at legal NFL sportsbooks.
