WASHINGTON – Saturday NFL football is back, with week 16 featuring two divisional matchups where the away team opened as the favorite in both.
The Washington Commanders opened as 5.5-point underdogs at home against the Philadelphia Eagles, and the line has now jumped to -7.
Over in Chicago, the Bears opened up as 3-point underdogs at home but are now favored by 1.5 points.
Check out the best player props offered by legal NFL betting sites for these Saturday showdowns.
Kyle Monangai Over 45.5 Rush Yards -115
Kyle Monangai rushed for only 33 yards last week against the Browns, but is facing a Packers defense this week that no longer has Micah Parsons. Against the Packers in week 14, Monangai recorded 57 yards on 14 carries and finished with one more carry than D’Andre Swift.
For this week 16 matchup at home, Monangai could see even more of an increase in carries, as Swift was put on the injury report with a groin injury earlier this week.
Even with Swift playing, Monangai has cleared this rush line set by legal sports betting sites of 45.5 in three of his last four games played.
Jayden Reed Over 3.5 Receptions -105
Jayden Reed has only played four games this season for the Packers, but has been consistently featured in the games when he plays. Over the last two weeks, Reed has received at least four receptions and has been targeted four or more times in three of his four games played.
He went a perfect four catches on four targets in the previous matchup between these two teams and is poised for a repeat performance, as Christian Watson is questionable to play against the Bears with a chest/shoulder injury.
In his career against the Bears, Reed has averaged 3.4 receptions per game and 52.4 receiving yards per game.
Jalen Hurts Over 27.5 Rushing Yards -130
Jalen Hurts has recorded 28 rushing yards or more in four of his last five games and is in a great position to continue this trend against the Commanders. Hurts easily cleared this line in both regular-season games against the Commanders, rushing for 39 and 41 yards.
On the season, Hurts is averaging 6.7 carries per game and 26.8 rushing yards per game.
Starting quarterbacks are averaging 43 rush yards per game and over 5.5 carries over the last three games against the Commanders (Dart, McCarthy, Nix).
Other notable performances of QBs rushing the ball against the Commanders this season include Justin Hebert with 60 yards in week 5 and Patrick Mahomes in week eight with 30 yards on four carries.
