Bet Home Teams Against The Spread: NFL Championship Weekend - Drake Maye
  • The Patriots are favored over the Broncos on the road in the wake of Bo Nix’s season-ending injury.
  • Seattle is a two-and-a-half-point home favorite over the Rams, who they split the season series with 1-1.

DENVER – It is Conference Championship week in the NFL which means there will be plenty of betting opportunities this Sunday, beginning with the top seeded Denver Broncos hosting the New England Patriots at 3 p.m. ET, followed by a divisional rematch between the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks.

AFC Championship Game Odds

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Patriots -4.5 (-115) -245 O 43.0 (-105)
Broncos +4.5 (-105) +205 U 43.0 (-115)

The Patriots come into the game as four and a half point favorites according to legal sports betting sites, in large part due to the absence of Bo Nix, who suffered a broken ankle on the last play of Denver’s divisional round win over the Bills.

Jarrett Stidham will fill in the starting QB role for the Broncos after having not started a game since January of 2024.

In four career starts, Stidham has averaged 270 passing yards, 1.5 touchdowns, and 1 interception per game, though all of those games were after his team had been eliminated from playoff contention.

Unfortunately for him, his first start in over two years will come against a Patriots defense that has allowed just 253 total yards per game, 9.5 points per game, and forced four interceptions in just two games so far this postseason.

Denver’s defense should be enough to keep the game close against MVP finalist Drake Maye (who has -115 odds to record over 1.5 passing touchdowns), but losing Nix may be too big a burden for the Broncos to overcome.

Bet on Denver to cover the 4.5 point spread at home.

NFC Championship Game Odds

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Rams +2.5 (-110) +120 O 46.5 (-105)
Seahawks -2.5 (-110) -140 U 46.5 (-115)

Legal NFL betting sites list the Seahawks as two and a half point home favorites over the Rams in the third meeting between the two teams this season, each of the first two decided by two or fewer points.

Seattle ended the regular season on a tear, winning 11 of their final 12 games and each of their final seven. They carried that momentum into the playoffs, defeating the 49ers by a final score of 41-6 in their divisional round matchup.

The Rams have been a bit shaky as of late, losing two of their final three regular season games and barely squeaking out wins against the Panthers and Bears, both of which ranked in the bottom third of the league in defensive EPA.

Matthew Stafford has completed just 52.4% of his passes through the first two postseason games while throwing for just three touchdowns and one interception.

He will now face a Seattle defense which ranked second in defensive EPA throughout the regular season. Stafford threw for over 400 yards in his second game against the Seahawks, but managed to complete just 57.1% of his passes between the two matchups.

Bet on Stafford to record over 35.5 pass attempts at -120 odds and pair it with Seattle to cover the 2.5 point spread at -110. Stafford has gone over that mark in his last six consecutive games and the Seahawks may very well be the hottest team in football.
