KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football in Week 5 where the Chiefs are going in as a heavier favorite at 7 points on the spread.

There is no doubt about it that Davante Adams is the go-to wide receiver for the Raiders and will get plenty of opportunities his way regardless of who the opponent is. He leads the team in targets with 47 which is 22 more than the next receiver on the team. As for the 76.5 receiving yard total, while many are quick to hit the over just off his name alone, the Chiefs secondary has its their own this season letting up just 168.75 receiving yards per game to opposing receivers.

Adams could have a hard time reaching that over 76.5 as well if the Raiders use that same gameplan as they allowed Mike Williams and Mike Evans to secure just four receptions each under the 15-yard mark and neither of them were able to break lose for more than 5 yards after.

Travis Kelce, on the other hand, could hit the over being that he is treated more as a wide receiver than a tight end being that he leads the team in targets receptions, and yards. He has gone over a 70.5 NFL player prop number twice this season while the Raiders have allowed two players to go over that number this season as well. One included Zach Ertz, the tight end for the Arizona Cardinals who went for 75 yards.

Ertz was in his bag in Week 2 against the Raiders where most of his yardage came after two big plays on yards after the catch. One that saw 15 yards exactly and another that went for 7 yards. In the two games that Kelce went over, the yardage mostly came after the catch. In Week 1 he had three receptions that each went for 7, 15, and 12 yards after the reception. In Week 4 he also had three receptions that went for 7+ yards after the catch as well.

Injuries to the Raiders defense could also have an impact here as well with linebackers Denzel Perryman and Jayon Brown both questionable as well as defensive backs Rock Ya-Sin, Roderic Teamer, and Sam Webb.
