- Damien Harris is priced at $5,700 on DraftKings.
- Harris’ rushing yard total is set at 64.5 yards.
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots have their second meeting against the New York Jets in Week 7 and one player that should be targeted in daily fantasy football (DFS) formats is Damien Harris.
Damien Harris has been a solid running back all season and is coming off of his best game last week where he put up 101 rushing yards and 1 touchdown for 20.8 fantasy points.
Here in Week 7, he is slated for a big game against the Jets defense that allows the second-most fantasy points to opposing running backs. The Jets are allowing opposing backs to go for 27 fantasy points per game and 123.4 rushing yards per game.
In Week 2 when Harris went against the Jets, he had a modest 62-yard, 1 touchdown outing for 13.4 fantasy points.
Harris’s Betting Line Backs Fantasy Value
Damien Harris Rushing Yard Total
- OVER 64.5 -115
- UNDER 64.5 -115
A 64.5-yard rushing total on legal online sportsbooks for Harris is fair considering he’s averaged 55.2 yards per game this season. If Harris were to hit the OVER and back up his fantasy value, he could look to exploit the left side of the field.
In Week 1, the Jets went up against Christian McCaffrey who had five, 5+ yard runs to the left side of the field that accumulated 50 of his 98 rushing yards. In Week 3, Melvin Gordon saw five of 18 carries for 5+ yards go to the left as well. With that, Harris could hit the OVER for his NFL player prop odds if he sticks to the left side.
Getting back to his fantasy value, if he did attack the left side, his chances of scoring a touchdown increase as Derrick Henry, Melvin Gordon, and Harris himself all scored to the left side of the field against the Jets.
DraftKings has Harris priced at $5,700 which is low enough to still add value to players around him. The Pats take on the Jets at 1:00 p.m. EST Sunday on CBS.
