Bet On Defenders To Stay Undefeated Against The Brahmas
  • The DC Defenders, the only remaining undefeated team in the UFL, are favored by 7.5 points against the San Antonio Brahmas.
  • The point total is set at 38 points. DC has had one of three games go over that mark, and San Antonio has had two of three go over 38 points.

WASHINGTON – Week 4 of the UFL season wraps up Sunday afternoon in DC as the Defenders host the San Antonio Brahmas at 5 PM EST on FOX.

Brahmas vs Defenders Game Odds

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Brahmas +7.5 (-105) +295 O 38.0 (-105)
Defenders -7.5 (-115) -390 U 38.0 (-115)

Legal betting sites list the Defenders as 7.5-point favorites, as they look to extend their record to 4-0.

The Defenders are the only remaining undefeated team in the league at 3-0, while San Antonio is one of two teams who have yet to win a game this season.

Wade Phillips, the head coach of the Brahmas, recently took a leave of absence from the team, with offensive coordinator Payton Pardee being named interim head coach.

San Antonio has had the worst defense in the league by a decent amount, allowing the most points and second most total yards through three games.

DC on the other hand has been elite on both sides, allowing the fewest yards per game and the second least points in the league, as well as ranking first in passing yards and second in total yards.

They rank first in the league in sacks, interceptions, and fumble recoveries as well.

The one redeeming quality for the Brahmas is their run game, as they rank third in the league in rushing yards per game and first in yards per attempt.

If they want any chance of winning Sunday, it’s going to have to be on the back of their three headed running back room of Anthony McFarland, Jashaun Corbin, and John Lovett.

Former Texas A&M Quarterback Kellen Mond has been mediocre for San Antonio this season, passing for 147 yards per game and just one touchdown in three outings, along with one interception.

Jordan Ta’amu leads the Defenders’ air attack, leading the league in both passing yards and passing touchdowns. He’s done it without a true number one receiver, with no player having more than one receiving touchdown on the season.

Bet on DC to cover the 7.5-point spread, as they knocked off the previously undefeated Battlehawks 27-15 in Week 3. San Antonio lost by just three points in Week 3 to the Panthers, but lost by margins of 24 and 17 in Weeks 1 and 2.

The Defenders have jumped to +300 odds to win the championship at UFL betting sites, second in the league behind the reigning champion Stallions, who the Defenders beat in Week 1.
