The Dodgers will start Clayton Kershaw, who’s had a solid bounce back year in his age 37 season, going 6-2 with a 3.14 ERA a year after struggling in just seven appearances.
Kershaw had a rough go of things in July, posting a 4.71 ERA in four starts, but has allowed just one run through 12 innings pitched so far in August.

The Padres currently own the second longest winning streak in the MLB behind the Brewers, rattling off five straight wins and have won seven of their last eight overall. Their 17-8 record since the All-Star break is tied for second best in the league.
They took the last two games of the series against the Red Sox before sweeping the Giants in San Francisco to start their stretch of four straight series in California between the Dodgers and Giants.
