ELMONT, N.Y. – The last leg of the three Triple Crown races, the Belmont Stakes, is scheduled for Saturday. Things are shaping out to be a close race towards the top of the odds board with Journalism and Sovereignty extremely competitive with one another.
As the odds currently sit at legal sports betting sites, Journalism, the winner of the Preakness Stakes, is the favorite to win while Sovereignty, the Kentucky Derby winner, isn’t too far behind with the second shortest odds.

Either horse could have made a case to be a Triple Crown winner had they raced in each of the three races.
