This tape provided us with hit songs such as “luther”, “squabble up”, and “tv off” that have taken the Billboard Charts by storm. GNX debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and has spent 26 weeks on the chart, currently sitting at number five.
The song “luther” featuring SZA is currently number five on the Billboard Hot 100.
Doechii’s Alligator Bites Never Heal garnered lots of attention for the Tampa, Florida born artist, peaking at #10 on the Billboard 200. The album is currently placed at #49 on the chart.
“Denial Is A River” was the standout track of the project, peaking at number nine on the charts. “Anxiety” was released as a bonus track on the extended version of the album and also peaked at number nine, currently sitting at 13th on the Billboard Hot 100.
Beyoncé has long been one of the best-selling artists, and switching genres did not change that fact. Cowboy Carter was her introduction to country music and went unbelievably well, debuting at #1 on the Billboard 200 and Top Country Albums chart.
Some Sexy Songs 4 U was Drake’s first album released since 2023 and his second collaboration album of his career, teaming up with PARTYNEXTDOOR for the heavily R&B-based project.
The album peaked at #1 on the Billboard 200 and currently sits at eighth, with considerable longevity for an album released just under four months ago.
Hurry Up Tomorrow and We Don’t Trust You both sit at +2000 odds to win the award despite both peaking at #1 on the Billboard 200.
Hurry Up Tomorrow is The Weeknd’s first album since 2022 and currently sits at #16 on the charts. We Don’t Trust You was a highly anticipated collab between Future and Metro Boomin’ which gave us “Like That”, which began the feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake.
There are plenty of big names in consideration for this award, but entertainment betting sites favor Kendrick Lamar to take home album of the year.
