DALLAS – An absolute banger of a matchup is set for Sunday Night Football in Week 4 between the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers. This also marks the return of Micah Parsons to Dallas for the first time since being traded away from the Cowboys just before the season started.
Going into the matchup, the Packers are heavier favorites on legal sports betting sites with nearly a touchdown spread leaning their way at 6.5 points. This comes with not just how the Packers have been playing thus far, but also with the plethora of injuries that Dallas has suffered.
Green Bay Packers Vs. Dallas Cowboys
- Moneyline: Packers (-330) vs. Cowboys (+265)
- Spread: Packers -6.5
- Total: 47
We’re leaning on the Packers odds here for several reasons, with the main one being their depleted secondary that is seeing DaRon Bland, Trevon Diggs, and Trikweze Bridges all questionable to suit up. To make matters even worse, CeeDee Lamb is also doubtful to play.

With their injuries, the Cowboys have been allowing teams to fly up and down the field at will, allowing 397.7, the third most in the NFL, along with the sixth most points allowed at 30.7, while averaging 24.7 themselves.
On the Packers side, despite coming off of an upset loss last week to the Cleveland Browns, they have been strong. They won their first two games by at least nine points. Overall, on the season, they haven’t allowed a team to put up more than 18 points and have allowed just four total touchdowns to opponents all season.

- Over 0.5 -182
- Under 0.5 +139
In honor of Parsons returning to Dallas as a member of the Packers, we’ll look at his NFL betting line for his total sacks, where there is still value betting on him to go over half a sack.
Parsons has recorded 1.5 sacks thus far on the season and now gets a great matchup against a Cowboys offensive line that has allowed five sacks on Dak Prescott through three games. In total, the Dallas O-line has seen 32 blitz plays against Dak, where he’s been knocked down eight times and has seen the fourth most hurries as well, at 11. All numbers that indicate Parsons being able to get through for a sack.
