BALTIMORE – The first official week of the NFL Preseason begins on Thursday with a three game slate. Included in that slate is a matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Ravens, which is where our best bet is coming from.
Prior to kick off, legal sports betting sites are bullish on the Colts with a 6-point spread leaning their way. There is also a 36-point total set for the game, and that is where the value is going to come for bettors.

Back The Over In Points With Plenty Of Experience Playing
This is not going to unfold like any other NFL preseason game, and this comes with all of the experience that is suiting up ahead of the game. All of that experience has us leaning towards the over in total points on NFL betting sites.
On the Colts’ side of things, internally, they’re dealing with a battle for the QB1 spot to start the year between Anthony Richardson and Daniel Jones. It’s already been reported that Richardson will start their first game with Jones starting their second preseason game. Both will get playing time in both games though. With experience under center for the entire game, they should hold up their side of points scored.

As for Baltimore, John Harbaugh is known to take the preseason seriously and do everything possible to win games. Take their 25-4 preseason record since 2016 as an example. Over the last two seasons, Baltimore has gone 4-2 in going over a 36 point total.
