OKLAHOMA CITY – Game 2 between the Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder is set for Wednesday Night, and to the surprise of many, the Nuggets are going in as a 1-0 favorite in the series, however, oddsmakers might’ve gotten this line way wrong.
While the Thunder are the favorites to win Game 2 on legal sports betting sites, this is just too many points on the table at an 11-point spread in their favor. Especially after Denver took Game 1 on the road as a 10-point favorite.

Can Nuggets Keep It Close In Game 2?
Absolutely, Denver can surely keep things close once again here in Game 2 as they gave all the momentum in their favor right now after a huge upset win as a 10-point underdog in Game 1 on NBA betting sites.
While another win for Denver could be a ton to ask for, they certainly proved that they can run and matchup with well with Oklahoma City. It’s hard to see why oddsmakers set an even larger spread in favor of OKC after they dropped the first game.
Something to keep in mind about OKC is that they’ve only lost back to back games on two occasions this season. However, the reason we’re backing Denver on the spread is that the Thunder are a league worst 8-6-1 against the spread in games following defeat this season.
In the regular season series, Denver has also remained competitive with OKC, going 2-2 straight up and against the spread as well.
