  • Lando Norris has shorter odds to finish in second place than Oscar Piastri.

MIAMI – Formula 1 is headed to South Beach for the Miami Grand Prix taking place at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. Per usual, McLaren is finding themselves at the top of the odds board with both drivers tied for the shortest odds.

Sitting at +135 odds each on legal sports betting sites are Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris who ranked the first and second drivers in F1 respectively and are also the only drivers with odds under +500 as well.

2025 Miami Grand Prix Odds

  • Lando Norris +135
  • Oscar Piastri +135
  • Max Verstappen +500
  • George Russell +1400
  • Charles Leclerc +1800
  • Lewis Hamilton +3300

Odds Supporting Piastri Over Norris

Outside of the F1 betting odds to win the race overall, other odds are showing that Piastri could be the one that comes out on top over Norris. Most notably, the odds on which driver will finish in second place have Lando Norris with the shortest odds at +185 while Oscar Piastri has +200.

Looking at odds to finish in the top two and three, Piastri has stronger odds than Norris does in both with -250 and -625 compared to -200 and -500.

There is reason behind the odds supporting Piastri over Norris though and that comes when looking at the F1 standings. Piastri is the number one ranked driver with 99 points and three wins while Norris is the second ranked driver at 89 points and one win.

If the two McLaren drivers do approach the finish in the first and second position, being that the two are McLaren teammates, Norris could very well Piastri get the victory considering he is closer to the drivers championship with -120 odds.
