CLEVELAND – A pair of consequential games in the NBA are set to be played Tuesday night, as the Indiana Pacers travel back to try to wrap up their series against the Cleveland Cavaliers, while the Oklahoma City Thunder look to defend home court against the Denver Nuggets.

Pacers vs Cavaliers Game Odds

The Pacers were utterly dominant in their Game 4 win, dropping 129 points en route to a 20 point blowout victory. However, legal sports betting sites list them as 7.5 point underdogs in Game 5.

Indiana should have no trouble covering this line and it would not be surprising to see them win this game outright at +235 odds.

They were able to steal each of the first two games on the road and actually beat Cleveland at home twice during the regular season.

In their only loss of the series in Game 3, the Pacers shot 9-30 (30%) from the three point line. In the other three games of the series, they made at least 11 three pointers while shooting 39% or better from downtown.

As long as Indiana manages to have an efficient game in terms of shooting the three, they should be able to keep the game within striking distance. Tyrese Haliburton has already proven himself as a closer as well.

Nuggets vs Thunder Game Odds

The Thunder showed why they were the #1 defense in the NBA this season in Game 4, holding the Nuggets to just 87 points in regulation. Legal NBA betting sites expect them to carry that momentum into Game 5, listing OKC as 10.5 point favorites.

Though it is a steep line, bet on OKC to cover at -110 odds.

The Thunder have been borderline unbeatable at home, finishing with a 35-6 home record during the regular season. They averaged four more points per game at home and had an average margin of victory of 15 points per game.

During the regular season series against Denver, both of OKC’s wins were by at least 15 points and they won Game 2 at home by a whopping 43 points.

After scoring just 104 and 92 points in their last two games, the Thunder are due for an outburst and will have some home cooking to get them going.
