Justin Gaethje and Rafael Fiziev did face off on March 18, 2023, at UFC 286 and their fight ended with a Gaethje victory by majority decision. But, that result is an outlier.

13 of the combined 19 other UFC fights involving Gaethje and Fiziev ended via knockout.
