Updated World Cup Odds: France Leads, Spain, Argentina, England Follow
  • France is favored to win the World Cup with +185 odds.
  • Spain, Argentina, and England each have odds shorter than +500, but there’s a big gap before Norway at +1400 odds to win.

NEW YORK – The 2026 World Cup quarterfinals are set. The final eight teams remaining in the bracket are made up of France, Spain, Argentina, England, Norway, Morocco, Belgium, and Switzerland.

With the field now set, legal sports betting sites are favoring France to win its third World Cup in history as the only team with under +350 odds to win. Spain, Argentina, and England are the only other teams with odds under +1000.

2026 World Cup Winner Odds

  • France +185
  • Spain +375
  • Argentina +400
  • England +475
  • Norway +1400
  • Morocco +2800
  • Belgium +3300
  • Switzerland +3300

France

By the numbers, France favored on World Cup betting sites is the only thing that makes sense. They are tied with Argentina with 14 total goals, lead the field in assists, have a +12 goal differential, and have conceded just two goals throughout the entire tournament. In five matches, they have three clean sheets.

Spain

Spain follows as they’ve put on a clinic on defense with five shutouts across every one of its matches. They also lead the field with 252 forced turnovers. They haven’t been as threatening on offense with nine goals.

Argentina

Argentina, campeones del mundo, got off to an extremely hot start winning all three of its group stage matches by an 8-1 margin. They’ve since had two scares in the Round of 32 and Round of 16. Against Cape Verde in the Round of 32, they won 3-2 in extra time off a 111 minute goal. Against Egypt in the Round of 16, they found themselves down 2-0 before scoring three goals in 15 minutes to finish the match.

England

Always a sneaky option, England has a +6 goal differential scoring 11 and conceding five. After a 0-0 draw to start the group stage, they went on to win the following two by two goals each looking to have returned to dominance. In the Round of 32 and 16, they needed late game heroics to pull off wins in one goal victories.
