  • Lewis Hamilton +225
  • Sergio Perez +1000
  • Valtteri Bottas +2000
  • Carlos Sainz Jr +5000
  • Charles Leclerc +5000
  • Pierre Gasly +5000

2021 has been a historic year for Max Verstappen thus far as he has won nine of his 18 races this year. Currently sitting with 312.5 points and as the number one ranked driver, Verstappen has 14 top-5 finishes this year.

Putting his nine wins into perspective, the other five drivers that have won a race this season have combined for nine wins as well.

Verstappen has also been on fire as of late with three wins in his last five races while finishing the other two races in second place.

The Competition

The only real competition that Verstappen is facing is Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton sits behind Verstappen in the rankings with 293.5 points and is the only other driver with F1 odds for the race under +1000. Hamilton has had an impressive year as well finishing with 5 wins and a leading 15 top-5 finishes.

All in all, though, Verstappen’s odds should not be mistaken and can be taken confidently and at any price given the year he has had so far.

The Brazilian Grand Prix is set to begin on Sunday at noon and can be watched on ESPN News and the ESPN app.
