OLYMPIA, Wash. – Washington has become the most recent state to enter the market of college sports betting, signing a bill into law on Monday. This allows legal sports betting sites to offer college sports odds on all contests.
Legal since 2020, legal Washington sports betting was more restricted than in other states with legal sports betting, only available at tribal casinos. Washington was one of a few states that had legalized sports betting but prohibited betting on college sports.
Before, there were no player props for collegiate contests but that will change, taking effect in 90 days after the passing of the bill.
