- The Dodgers have -128 odds to beat the Brewers on the road Tuesday night.
- The Brewers defeated Los Angeles yesterday by a final score of 9-1.
MILWAUKEE – The Los Angeles Dodgers will face the Milwaukee Brewers for the second time this season on Tuesday night in a series that could have huge implications on the National League playoff picture down the stretch. Here are the odds for tonight’s game.
Dodgers vs Brewers Game Odds
| Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dodgers | -1.5 (+135) | -128 | O 8.5 (-105) |
| Brewers | +1.5 (-160) | +107 | U 8.5 (-115) |
The Dodgers are favored at legal sports betting sites, though the -128 moneyline does not inspire confidence, nor does the +135 odds to cover the one and a half run spread.
The two teams faced each other last night and the Brewers brought home a dominant 9-1 victory, led by their ace Freddy Peralta who recorded seven strikeouts and no earned runs in six innings pitched.
Though the Dodgers are still elite and own the second best record in the league, here’s why you might want to bet against them tonight.
Cold Streak
Coming into tonight’s game, the Dodgers have dropped their last four consecutive games. What’s more is that only one of those four games was even relatively close, as they lost games by margins of 4, 8, and 17 during that stretch.
Though they have allowed a decent amount of runs during this streak, including an 18-1 loss against the Houston Astros, the offense has been even worse, scoring just one run in three of the four games. The only game that they scored more than one run, they lost 6-4.
Meanwhile, the Brewers have scored at least two runs in each of their last five games, including a nine run outburst yesterday against LA.
Misiorowski At Home
Rookie pitcher Jacob Misiorowski has been excellent to start his career, beginning with a 3-1 record and 21 strikeouts through his first four appearances along with a 0.92 WHIP.
He did get shelled in his last appearance which came on the road against the hot hitting Mets, but Misiorowski has been stellar at home thus far.
In two home starts, he has allowed just two hits, six walks, and no earned runs through ten innings pitched as well as 13 strikeouts.
All in all, the Brewers have already proven that they can beat this Dodgers team and should be able to do so again with a young, live arm on the mound. Bet on the Brewers’ moneyline at MLB betting sites.
