  • Cooper Flagg is being selected first overall to the Dallas Mavericks.

  • Ace Bailey is favored to be selected third overall with -240 odds.

NEW YORK – Following the 2025 NBA Draft lottery that saw the Dallas Mavericks with a 1.8% chance of earning the number one pick and the rights to draft Cooper Flagg out of Duke with that pick, we turn to the odds to see what the rest of the board says.

Legal sports betting sites aren’t even offering odds as of yet on the number one pick being that Flagg is a sure thing. That said, they’ve turned their attention to the second and third overall picks, which are held by the San Antonio Spurs and Philadelphia 76ers.

Rutgers Boys Round Out Top 3

At the second overall pick, NBA betting odds are extremely heavy on Dylan Harper going second overall to the Spurs or potentially any other team that trades into the second pick. Regardless of which team is there, Harper is the consensus second overall pick on several mock draft outlets.

There is one theory from Bulls guard Lonzo Ball, that has been gaining traction, and that is for Harper being drafted to the Charlotte Hornets, who have the fourth overall pick, and then trading LaMelo Ball to the Los Angeles Clippers.

Harper finished his only collegiate season at Rutgers, putting up 19.4 ppg, 4.6 rpg, and 4 apg.

There is some more flexibility at the third overall pick for the Sixers which could very well be traded. Harper’s teammate, Ace Bailey, is favored to be picked here. The possibility of a trade is certainly the reason that the line is more affordable. Bailey put up 17.6 ppg, 7.2 rpg, and 1.3 ap in his lone season at Rutgers.
