Focus On Larson & Byron
Of the five drivers with odds under +1000 to win the race on NASCAR betting sites, we’re focusing on both William Byron and Kyle Larson to come out on top.
Both Byron and Larson are the first and second ranked drivers in the Cup Series to this point respectively. Byron is first with 604 points while Larson isn’t far back at 537.
The driving factor towards leaning on either of the two to win in the Poconos is that they are also the top two leaders in laps led, however, it’s Larson who has the most at 851 while Byron sits at 769. No other driver in NASCAR has more than 455 laps led this season.
In their more recent races, they’ve both been hot as well with Larson finishing in the top-10 in three of his last four outings including a win in Kansas. Byron, on the other hand, has been one of the most competitive drivers all season with the second most top-10 finishes (10) and second most top-5 finishes (7).
