Can Aces Capitalize On Injured Liberty? Odds Hinting Towards Close Game - Aja Wilson, Sabrina Ionescu
  • Odds are favoring the New York Liberty at -4.5 points over the Las Vegas Aces.
  • Jonquel Jones is out for the Liberty.
  • The Aces have won four of their last six games.

NEW YORK – The New York Liberty are holding on by a thread during their recent stretch of games and now have to face a surging Las Vegas Aces team on Tuesday Night.

Although legal sports betting sites are leaning towards the Liberty with 4.5 points on the spread, their recent outings would say otherwise. The Liberty and Aces are on two completely different courses in their last six games leaving a great opportunity to back the Aces on the spread or even for plus money on their odds to win outright.

Las Vegas Aces Vs. New York Liberty Betting Odds

  • Moneyline: Aces (+170) vs. Liberty (-200)
  • Spread: Liberty -4.5
  • Total: 165.5

Aces Continue To Surge Vs. Liberty

While this would normally be a powerhouse matchup in the WNBA, the Aces are off to a slow 9-9 start to their season and the Liberty have completely spiraled following their 9-0 start.

However, the tides are turning in Las Vegas as they’ve picked things up having won four of their last six games including two of their last three road games.

As for the Liberty, since their 9-0 start, they’ve crawled to a 3-6 stretch of nine games since then and have suffered a major blow with Jonquel Jones suffering an ankle injury that is expected to keep her out until after the WNBA all star break. Since losing Jones, they’ve gone 2-5.

To make matters even worse for New York, both Natasha Cloud and Isabelle Harrison suffered injuries during their 79-70 loss to the Seattle Storm leaving both of them as game time decisions against Vegas.

The kicker for Vegas keeping it close on WNBA betting sites and potentially winning does come with Jones out for the Liberty as A’ja Wilson has returned to form as the leading scorer in the Aces past six games and with 22+ in five of those.
