DENVER – The Denver Broncos get 2.5 points at home from the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night, a number that opened as high as three and has drifted toward Denver during a week in which Puka Nacua has yet to practice.
Broncos Vs Rams SNF Betting Lines
The spread opened with Los Angeles favored by as many as three points, tightened to as little as a point and a half early in the week, then drifted back out to 2.5 on this week’s legal sports betting board. That path matters for anyone still taking Denver. Today’s number beats the 1.5 the board touched at its tightest, even though the best number on the Broncos already came and went at the open.
The total has barely moved by comparison. It has held near 45.5 for most of the week on a night built around betting on Sunday Night Football.
Denver’s Trend Backs The Underdog
Denver has covered in three of its five games as a home underdog since 2024, a small sample that lines up with what already happened at home this season. The Broncos trailed Jacksonville 10-3 at halftime and 13-6 entering the fourth quarter in Week 2, then scored 14 unanswered points for a 20-13 win, evidence of a defense that can keep a game inside a number even when the offense starts slow.
Denver is 1-1, having opened the season with a 31-10 loss at Kansas City on Sept. 14.
The Rams’ Trend, And The Question At Receiver
Los Angeles carries its own trend into Denver. Los Angeles has covered 29 of 49 regular-season games as a road favorite since 2017, coach Sean McVay’s first season, so the Rams have generally been a live bet on the number when traveling as the chalk.
The Rams are also 1-1. They lost 27-7 to San Francisco in Melbourne, Australia, then beat the Giants 28-6 behind four Matthew Stafford touchdown passes and a 195-yard, two-score night from Davante Adams on eight catches.
Nacua sat out Wednesday’s walkthrough and Thursday’s practice, per the team’s injury report, and is trending toward missing a second straight game. McVay has said he is not sure whether Nacua will play Sunday but does not see the injury as any sort of long-term threat. Adams already carried the passing game once with Nacua sidelined, and Denver’s defense is coming off a game in which it allowed Jacksonville only 13 points.
The game kicks off at 8:20 p.m. ET Sunday at Empower Field at Mile High, with NBC and Peacock carrying it.
