MILAN – The Women’s Figure Skating final is set for Thursday, and the odds for the event are top heavy, with Kaori Sakamoto listed with the shortest odds and only three other skaters listed at under +1000 odds to win gold.

2026 Winter Olympics – Women’s Figure Skating Gold Medal
- Kaori Sakamoto (JPN) +100
- Adeliia Petrosian (AIN) +250
- Alysa Liu (USA) +300
- Amber Glenn (USA) +700
- Ami Nakai (JPN) +1400

Sakamoto is favored for a reason on Olympic betting sites as the number one ranked women’s figure skater in the world. She is one of the most decorated figure skaters in the world with 28 total medals, including 11 gold medals at the Japan Championships, Grand Prix Final, Four Continents Championships, and World Championships.
This will also be her final Olympic event before retirement at just 25 years of age. The only thing she has yet to conquer is a gold medal at the Winter Olympics, and odds are in favor of her accomplishing that in her final career event. She has two silver and a bronze medal at previous Winter Olympic Games.
Where Liu & Glenn Stand
There is some tremendous value on their odds going into the event, as both of them are top-5 figure skaters worldwide. They’re also coming off of a gold medal victory at the team figure skating event.
