NEW YORK – We are in the final week of the MLB regular season, and the American League MVP is currently knotted in a two man race between Aaron Judge and Cal Raleigh.
As for where the odds currently sit, legal sports betting sites are sticking with Aaron Judge with the shortest odds. However, this is the closest that Raleigh’s odds have been to Judge all season. This also marks the closest to even odds that Judge has been since having plus money odds back on March 26.
American League MVP Odds

- Cal Raleigh +100
Odds Journey + A Case For Both
It has been Aaron Judge’s MVP to lose all season long based on the MLB betting odds. He has had the shortest odds all season long and officially made the jump to under +100 odds back in April after moving from +300 down to -170.
Judge’s odds were most expensive in early June when they were listed at -13000. Since then, they have come up and landed at the -130 that they are currently being offered at.
Looking at Raleigh, he was a major underdog to start the season at +8000 odds and even saw his odds climb to over +11000 at one point in mid-April. Since then, they have significantly dropped and have been offered at under +500 since mid-July.
As far as the numbers go, holding up Judge’s favored odds are his batting average of .326 and OPS at 1.123, which are both the highest in the MLB this season. He is also second in total runs (130), and eighth in both hits (170) and RBI (105).
The case for Raleigh comes with his league leading home run total (58) and third highest RBI (121) and OPS (.949) totals. However, Judge does have a major advantage in batting average and hits, where Raleigh isn’t even in the top-50 in the league.
