The 2020 Razzies are just around the corner. Who will win worst picture?

  • The Razzies just got their first prop bet of the season in the worst movie category.
  • This fun awards show applauds the terrible performances of the year by Hollywood.
  • MyBookie is currently taking bets on the winner for the worst movie.

LOS ANGELES – A prop bet for the winner of the worst movie at the Razzies has been listed on sportsbooks for wagers. While highly unlikely to find entertainment props at legal sports betting sites licensed by state governments, offshore books have more options. MyBookie is currently taking bets for the worst movie of the year category.

More On The 2020 Razzies

The very first Golden Raspberry Awards Show, aka The Razzies, took place in 1981, marking the next event as the 40th anniversary of the parody style occasion. The list doesn’t necessarily have to be box office flops as Neil Diamond won a Razzie for his role in the film “The Jazz Singer” in the 80s. Diamond also got a nod by the Golden Globes for that same exact role. Its existence is mainly to poke fun at Hollywood and “Raz” those working in the industry.

Plenty of movies have been predicted to be the worst of the year. MyBookie has compiled a list of what they believe to be the worst movies of 2019. They have placed odds as to which will win the Razzie at the awards show in February 2020. There are 20 movies on the list, some of which were supposed to be box office smash hits rather than epic fails. The film with the best odds of winning is entitled Serenity (+400). Others that comprise the top ten include Replicas (+500), The Professor (+700), Hellboy (+700), The Hustle (+800), A Madea Family Funeral (+900), Glass (+1000), Poms (+1000), X-Men: Dark Phoenix (+1200), and Godzilla: King Of The Monsters (+1200).

While wagers can be placed now, they are open through February 2020. Although it is a jab to receive one of these awards, it’s all in good fun. Many celebrities enjoy getting acknowledged by this prestigious awards show.
