Ravens Lit Up By Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals put up a massive 41-17 win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 7 after legal online sportsbooks had the Bengals as 6-point underdogs. QB Joe Burrow led the way for the Bengals with his best performance of the season going for 416 passing yards and three touchdowns.

The public took hits on both the spread and the moneyline in this one. On the spread, the Bengals brought in just 34% of the handle and 35% of total bets. The moneyline saw an even bigger defeat as the Bengals held 17% of the handle and 15% of total bets.

The Bengals Super Bowl odds have soared following their impressive win going from +7500 down to +3000. Their odds to win the AFC North have also gone from +900 to +350. The Bengals are 5-2 this season and their odds will continue to shift if they make statement wins like this one more often.

Giants Quiet Carolina Panthers Defense

The New York Giants put the Carolina Panthers on blast in Week 7 with a 25-3 win. Many were quick to count out the Giants being that the Panthers’ defense is one of the best in the league in total yards allowed per game (307.4) and points allowed (20.9).

This was the biggest beat of the week for the public as the Giants spread had just 13% of the money and 11% of bets. The Giants’ moneyline numbers were just as bad with 29% of the handle and 15% of total bets.

Legal NFL betting sites saw a sizable shift on the Giants NFC North odds going from +5000 to +2000.

Raiders Quietly Lead AFC West Division

The Raiders have won their second straight game since Jon Gruden stepped down as their head coach, bringing them to a division-leading 5-2 record. The Raiders took down the Philadelphia Eagles 33-22 in Week 7 after going into the game as 1-point favorites.

The Raiders lines were split on both the moneyline and the spread. While the moneyline saw 56% of total bets, their handle was down at 42%. The spread saw a similar split with 62% of bets and 44% of the handle.

The Raiders Super Bowl odds saw a nice jump from +4500 to +3000 and their AFC West odds went from +700 to +400.
