- There are +105 odds for Chet Holmgren to stay under 8.5 rebounds.
- Tyrese Haliburton has +120 odds to go over 9.5 assists.
OKLAHOMA CITY – This is a star-studded NBA Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers which means there will be plenty of player prop betting opportunities available.
Two players specifically that we’re looking at on legal sports betting sites are Chet Holmgren’s rebound total and Tyrese Haliburton’s assist total. Both of which have decent plus money value going in opposite directions of each other.
Holmgren’s Struggles On The Glass Continue
Chet Holmgren Alternate Rebound Total
- Over 8.5 -135
- Under 8.5 +105
There is strong reason to believe that Chet Holmgren could have a disappointing Game 1 and series on the glass against the Pacers. This comes directly after a disappointing Western Conference Finals performance in that department that saw him grab just 6 RPG after averaging 8 RPG on the season.
Holmgren did not cross over the 8.5 rebound mark at all in the WCF and has stayed under this mark in nine of 16 playoff games played this postseason.
To make matters even worse for Holmgren in the NBA Finals, he’ll be tasked with another strong frontcourt in Myles Turner and Pascal Siakam who are each averaging nearly two offensive rebounds per game and a combined 11.8 RPG on the season.
In the WCF, Holmgren faced a similar frontcourt in Rudy Gobert and Julius Randle who also averaged nearly 12 total rebounds combined. That said, bettors should keep an eye on his odds to stay under 8.5 boards for the plus money value.
Haliburton Continues Assist Clinic In Postseason Play
Tyrese Haliburton Alternate Assist Total
- Over 9.5 +120
- Under 9.5 -160
There is no other way to put this other than Tyrese Haliburton has been a machine in distribution in these playoffs and has been the best passer in the postseason this year. He’s averaging just over 9.5 assists per game in the playoffs at 9.8 and has crossed the 10+ mark in nine of 16 playoff games that he’s played thus far.
He’s also coming off of an Eastern Conference Finals performance against the New York Knicks where he averaged 10.5 assists per game.
Nothing else really needs to be said here other than the fact that NBA betting sites set inflated odds here for Haliburton and bettors should hop on these while they still can.
