LAS VEGAS – Jamie Foxx has now become the face of a new advertising campaign for the online gaming and sports betting platform BetMGM.
The Academy and GRAMMY Award-winning entertainer will star in the company’s campaign called “The King of Sportsbooks” that will feature various social media and traditional advertisements for BetMGM.
This brand campaign showcases the excitement of sports betting and is made in partnership with a creative agency called 72andSunny New York.
The first advertisement will feature a video with Fountains of Bellagio in Las Vegas as the canvas. It will create a “sitting on the edge of your seat” experience by combining a surreal depiction of Foxx levitating above water with the magic of sports brought to life by the famous Fountains.

The award-winning singer, actor, and comedian has recently received a SAG Award nomination for “Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role along with winning “Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture” at the NAACP Image Awards for his performance in the movie Just Mercy.
Foxx can be seen on Netflix’s Project Power that was released on August 14 and is the starring voice in a Disney/Pixar feature called Soul set which is set to launch on November 20.
The first collaboration of Foxx and BetMGM will be released sometime in the coming weeks and has the ability to bring in a wider audience to the legal sports betting platform.
BetMGM can be downloaded on both iOS and Andriod devices and is available in seven states currently with plans to launch in 11 by the end of 2020.
