MIAMI – Season 37 of The Amazing Race wraps up Thursday at 9 p.m. ET on CBS. Carson McCalley and Jack Dodge are the favorites to win the competition at -500 odds.

Legal sports betting sites list McCalley and Dodge as strong favorites to win, followed by Jonathan and Ana Towns at +300.

According to a poll from TVLine.com, about 44% of viewers believe that McCalley and Dodge will win, closely followed by Alyssa and Josiah Borden at 39%.

Han and Holden Nguyen are large underdogs, both in terms of odds at +800 and fan vote, with just 7.5% of viewers predicting them to win.

An interesting fact to note is that a couple has won the competition in five of the last six seasons. Alyssa and Josiah Borden, as well as Jonathan and Ana Towns are both married couples, while McCalley and Dodge are friends and the Nguyens are siblings.

Sites that offer entertainment betting odds slightly favor the Townses over the Bordens. Jonathan and Ana have finished first place in three legs of the competition while Alyssa and Josiah have finished first twice.

Carson and Jack have finished first three times as well, but have also finished second three times and have never finished lower than sixth.

These friends have every right to be the favorites, but history tells us to watch out for one of the two remaining couples.
