LOS ANGELES – There is late night WNBA action on Tuesday between the Indiana Fever and Los Angeles Sparks from LA in what oddsmakers are leaning on an extremely close matchup between the two.

There is currently just a 1.5 point spread set on legal sports betting sites set in favor of the Fever. However, the Fever are one of the hottest teams in the WNBA this season and could very well blow this one away.

Fever Get It Done On Defense Vs. Sparks

There is no hiding that even without Caitlin Clark playing, the Fever are one of, if not the hottest team in the WNBA going into Tuesday Night. That said, there is plenty of value on their WNBA odds to win and cover the spread with ease.

Offensively, they are extremely similar. They both average roughly 85 ppg, roughly 8 three pointers per game, around 24 three pointers attempted with 34% success rates, and nearly 20.5 assists per game.

Where things are separated is on defense as the Fever are one of the better defenses in the league, while the Sparks are way down towards the bottom of the WNBA. The Fever allow 80.8 ppg to opponents while the Sparks let up the most points per game to opponents at 88. Indiana is also top-5 (42.9%) in FG% allowed and number one in 3P% (30.7%) allowed per game. LA is in the bottom half of the league in both categories as well.

Looking at their margins, Indiana averages a +4.3 point margin on the season, while the Sparks are -2.5 with their average point margin. Against the spread, in all 15 losses for the Sparks this season, none of them covered a +1.5 spread. The Fever, in all 17 of their games, have covered a -1.5-point spread.
