BOSTONFanatics Sportsbook launched a beta product of its mobile sportsbook app in Massachusetts for pre-existing customers. Any Massachusetts resident who has purchased merchandise from Fanatics will earn an invitation code to test their mobile sportsbook app before it launches officially.

Sports bettors who aren’t a customer of Fanatics can download their mobile sportsbook app but will be placed on a waitlist. The Massachusetts Gaming Commission unanimously approved an operations certificate to an essential company of Fanatics Sportsbook, taking it them one step closer to an official Massachusetts launch.

Fanatics Sportsbook’s legal sports betting expansion into Massachusetts, marks their third state including Ohio and Tennessee. Massachusetts is the first of many states that Fanatics Sportsbook plans to launch in following their acquisition of PointsBet US on May 14.

April marked the second straight month with DraftKings taking in over $250 million in bets. Fanatics Sportsbook believes their unique strategy can compete with DraftKings in the Commonwealth.
