JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Legal Missouri sports betting launched on Monday with eight mobile apps and four retail locations. Anyone 21 years or older can get in on the legal sports betting action with a plethora of choices.
Players don’t have to be a resident to bet, just physically located within state lines. Geolocation technology prevents wagers from being placed at Missouri sportsbook apps from outside of state lines.
These apps won’t have college player props, but bettors can place wagers on other college moneylines, futures, and live bets in addition to professional leagues. Missouri’s launch makes it 39 US sports betting states with a regulated market.

Royals Seeking Betting Partner After Underdog Withdrawal
After announcing a partnership with the Kansas City Royals in late October, Underdog withdrew their application for a sports betting license in Missouri just days before launch. Underdog has offered their daily fantasy sports in the state for years and was one of the first applicants for a sports betting license, but they’ll remain solely a DFS operator in Missouri.
While retail sportsbook locations haven’t been confirmed at the time of launch, four other professional teams in Missouri have partnered with sportsbooks.
- St. Louis Cardinals: bet365
- St. Louis Blues: DraftKings
- St. Louis CITY SC: FanDuel
- Kansas City Chiefs: BetMGM
Locals can also place their bets at four casino locations; Caesars Sportsbook at Horseshoe St. Louis, Fanatics Sportsbook at Ameristar, Hollywood Casino, and River City Casino.
