Mohegan Sun Pocono Adds Mobile Unibet Sportsbook in PA

• The Unibet Sportsbook is now available online and on mobile devices.
• Mobile sports betting is available statewide in Pennsylvania.
• The Kindred Group now has online sportsbooks in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Mohegan Sun Pocono quietly launched its online and mobile sportsbook last month.

Two Successful Launches

The Mohegan Sun Pocono partnered with the Kindred Group to launch a Unibet Sportsbook in the casino. The retail Unibet Sportsbook at this casino first launched in early October. Since then, the casino had been working on launching an online sportsbook for their customers.

“After a successful launch of our betting lounge, Unibet Sportsbook at Mohegan Sun Pocono, we are thrilled to take the partnership with Mohegan Sun online and bring the Pennsylvanian guests a state-of-the-art online gambling experience, including the best online casino games and an impressive online sportsbook,” said Manuel Stan, senior vice president of Kindred US.

This is the second online sportsbook in the United States by the Kindred Group. The Kindred Group has an online Unibet Sportsbook available in New Jersey. The group now wants to expand its operations into different states as well.

Statewide Availability

With the launch of the online and mobile Unibet Sportsbook, customers do not need to go to the Mohegan Sun Pocono to place their bets. When Pennsylvania sports betting was legalized, lawmakers decided to allow for mobile wagering. Some states have restrictions for mobile wagering such as signing up at a casino or limiting the range in which mobile apps can be used.

Such limitations are not in place in Pennsylvania. Bettors in the state can sign up for the mobile or online Unibet Sportsbook no matter where they are. On top of that, they can bet on their favorite teams no matter where they are in the state. Customers no longer have to visit the Mohegan Sun Pocono to take part in legal sports betting.

The only limit that the customers face is state borders. Due to federal laws, the Unibet Sportsbook by the Mohegan Sun Pocono cannot be used outside of Pennsylvania. But anyone who is visiting the state is more than free to use the online and mobile sportsbook.
