DALLAS – The city of Dallas will get their first in person glimpse of Cooper Flagg on Monday Night when the Dallas Mavericks take on the Oklahoma City Thunder on NBA TV.
Ahead of Monday’s tip off, legal sports betting sites are slightly siding with the Mavs at home in this one with a 1-point spread leaning their way. This is a great spot to back the home team as OKC is expected to have a constant change in their rotation.

Flagg Gets First NBA Win Vs. Thunder
The main reason for the lean on the Mavs on NBA betting sites comes as the Mavs will have more of an established rotation in their first preseason game of the season. That includes several key players taking the court, including Anthony Davis, Klay Thompson, Dereck Lively, and D’Angelo Russell.
On the other side, it has already been reported before their preseason opener against Charlotte that the Thunder plan to use all of their exhibition games to evaluate their roster. That said, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren, and Lu Dort likely will not see the court at all until the regular season.
The Thunder did roll out Jaylon Williams, Ousmane Dieng, Isaiah Joe, Aaron Wiggins, and Nikola Topic in the win against Charlotte with 20+ minutes each. However, we fully expect them to dive deep into the depth chart in this one, with some fresh faces getting extended minutes.
That said, comfortably back the Mavs to win at home here and enjoy what could be a generational talent in Cooper Flagg making his preseason debut.
