Can Mayweather Remain Perfect?

“Money” is ending his nine year retirement run to face arguably his biggest rival in Pacman and put his perfect 50–0 record on the line. The last time Mayweather fought was back in 2017, when he defeated Conor McGregor.

Pacquiao, on the other hand, has been active as of late, with his most recent bout coming in July 2025 in a draw against Mario Barrios. His last win, though, came in 2019 against Keith Thurman.

It’ll be over 11 years since Mayweather and Pacquiao last fought, come September. Mayweather won their first bout by unanimous decision with the judges’ scorecards reading 118–110, 116–112, and 116–112. Mayweather landed 34% of his punches while Pacquiao had an off night at just 19%.
