Packers Vs. Bears

  • The Green Bay Packers are 6-point favorites over the Chicago Bears.
  • The Los Angeles Rams odds are favored by 10 points on the New York Giants.
  • The Pittsburgh Steelers are 5-point favorites on the Seattle Seahawks.

LAS VEGAS Week 6 of the NFL is loaded with key matchups, however, some of the betting lines for those matchups could have seen major line movement based on certain players getting injured.

Legal online sportsbooks saw significant shifts in favor of the Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams, and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Green Bay Packers Vs. Chicago Bears

Green Bay Packers Vs. Chicago Bears

  • Packers -6 (-115)
  • Bears +6 (-105)

At the start of the week, the Packers NFL betting line opened up as 4.5-point favorites over the Chicago Bears and have since shifted to 6-point favorites.

The cause behind the shift is that Damien Williams, the Bears backup running back to David Montgomery, is out after testing positive for COVID-19. With that, rookie running back, Khalil Herbert, is in line to take over the RB1 duties.

With the Packers being a top-10 team in defense against both the run and pass game, the Bears could have a hard time moving the ball up the field.

Regardless of the shift, the public is all over the Packers with 76% of the handle and 96% of the money on their side.

Los Angeles Rams Vs. New York Giants

Los Angeles Rams Vs. New York Giants

  • Rams -10 (-115)
  • Giants +10 (-115)

This matchup saw the biggest movement of the week with a 3.5-point shift in favor of the Rams after opening as 6.5-point favorites. The reason being that the New York Giants walked out of Week 5 banged up as ever with injuries to Daniel Jones, Saquon Barkley, and Kadarius Toney while already dealing with injuries to Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton.

While many might think that this is a dream matchup for anyone betting on the Rams, Daniel Jones is trending in the right direction while Toney and Shepard were back at practice in limited form.

91% of the money is laying on the Rams to cover 10 points while 68% of the total handle is relying on the Giants to stay in the game.

Pittsburgh Steelers Vs. Seattle Seahawks

  • Steelers -5 (-110)
  • Seahawks +5 (-110)

This matchup was bound to see their lines shift at some point with the Seattle Seahawks announcing that Russell Wilson will be out for an extended period of time with a hand injury. With that, the Steelers opened the week as 2.5-point favorites and are now 5-point favorites.

It also helps that the Seahawks allow the most yards per game this season and are also in the bottom half of the league in points allowed. Not to mention, the Steelers have one of the deepest offenses in the league with a receiving core backed by Chase Claypool and Dionte Johnson and an elite rookie running back in Najee Harris.

The public has been hammering the Steelers all week as they have racked up 77% of the handle and 98% of all money bet.
