NEW YORKSportsGrid has entered into a new content space as the company has partnered with streaming service Plex to bring a new linear video gaming network to its patrons.

The network will focus on providing odds, stats, betting lines, and detailed data coverage for major games in all the top sporting leagues. This is SportsGrid’s first foray into TV and their network is the first odds focused sporting network on the market.

SportsGrid Meets Plex

Just in time for the return of NBA betting and betting on the MLB season, SportsGrid brings its betting odds and sports analysis technology to the television screen.

Sports bettors can now find odds and pre-game stats for the biggest events in sports all while comfortably sitting on their couches thanks to the deal with Plex. SportsGrid chose to go with Plex as the streaming service already has a base of 20 million registered users that span the globe. That is a strong collection of subscribers for SportsGrid’s first-ever launch into the televised medium.

“Plex provides SportsGrid the ability to integrate a user’s personalized sports audio and video content with our live sports wagering programming to enhance their viewing experience,” said  Louis Maione, President and Founder of SportsGrid. “We are excited to be part of Plex’s new ad-supported video channel platform.”

Per the partnership, SportsGrid will provide a 24/7 live video of original programming to Plex subscribers. This includes pre- and post-game data and analytics, live scores, data intelligence, injury reports, and play-by-play of games by an extensive team of experts.

SportsGrid has already collected a slew of personalities and sports programming for the launch. This includes The Pat McAfee Show hosted by Pat McAfee, Ferrall Coast to Coast Hosted By Scott Ferrall, and Game Time Decisions with Gabe Morency.

The main goal of the network is to provide legal sports betting advice as well as game break downs to better the betting experience for patrons.

This network is new territory for the sports betting world and may start a new trend of televised betting platforms.
