NBA betting odds for Sunday include two possible sweeps in the first round.

  • The Boston Celtics are favored to beat the Philadelphia 76ers with -360 odds.
  • The Los Angeles Clippers have -360 odds to beat the Dallas Mavericks.
  • The Toronto Raptors are heavily favored to beat the Brooklyn Nets with -1200 odds.
  • The Utah Jazz are favored to beat the Denver Nuggets with -155 odds.

ORLANDO, Fla. — There is some great NBA action going on for Game 4 in today’s set of series as there are two games that could potentially lead to the winner moving on to the second round of the playoffs.

In the opening game of the day, legal sports betting sites have the Boston Celtics defeating the Philadelphia 76ers and moving on to the second round.

Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers Odds

  • Celtics (-360) vs. 76ers (+280)
  • Over 213 (-110), Under 213 (-110)

The Celtics NBA odds are clearly the favorites here for two main reasons. The first is that they have all the momentum on their side right now as they currently lead the series at 3-0.

They have been playing nothing short of spectacular thus far in the playoffs and will certainly keep up that level of play into Game 4. Secondly, the 76ers are missing one of their most important pieces in Ben Simmons and also their other supporting players are not living up to their standards.

Looking at the point total, the under should be looked at as the safer bet to make here. Boston should have no problem scoring points on their side, but the 76ers struggles are just too much and without Simmons on the floor, it makes the case for the under even stronger. Also, in the first three games, the under was hit two times.

Los Angeles Clippers Vs. Dallas Mavericks Odds

  • Clippers (-360) vs. Mavericks (+280)
  • Over 232 (-110), Under 232 (-110)

In the second game of the day, the Los Angeles Clippers are seen as somewhat of the heavy favorites to beat the Dallas Mavericks.

Although the series has been neck and neck, the Clippers are seen here as the heavier favorites being that Mavericks superstar, Luka Doncic, is listed as a game-time decision after suffering an ankle injury in Game 3. Recent reports, however, are suggesting that Luka Doncic could indeed play as his injury does not seem too serious.

If Luka is to remain sidelined, there is no need to question the Clippers’ odds. If Doncic does take the floor, the Mavs do have what it takes to win as they showed that in Game 2 and could offer a great payout.

As for the point total, this could rely on the availability of Luka Doncic as well. There is no doubt that both of these teams have what it takes to hit the Over mark here as they did in two of the three games played thus far, but without Doncic playing for Dallas, it could be up in the air. If Doncic is a go, the Over should be slammed as it is likely to hit.

Toronto Raptors Vs. Brooklyn Nets Odds

  • Raptors (-1200) vs. Nets (+700)
  • Over 217 (-110), Under 217 (-110)

In the third game of the day, the defending champions, Toronto Raptors, are favored to close out the series and defeat the Brooklyn Nets.

There should be no risk-taking here and no questioning the Raptors odds to win as they are exactly where they need to be. The Nets are extremely short-handed without Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant on the floor and the Raptors are taking full advantage of that. They also have way more playoff and championship experience than the remaining players on the Nets team which has helped get them this far in the series. It should be a clean sweep for the Raptors going into Game 4.

The under for the total game points should be heavily taken here. The Raptors no doubt will show up on the scoring side of things, but the Nets are just missing way too much on their team to keep up. This has been the case since the start of the bubble and has shown in the playoffs as the total has stayed under in two of the three games so far.

Utah Jazz Vs. Denver Nuggets Odds

  • Jazz (-155) vs. Nuggets (+135)
  • Over 216 (-110), Under (-110)

The last game of the four-game slate is the Utah Jazz as they are favored to take a 3-1 lead over the Denver Nuggets.

The series between the Jazz and Nuggets has been everything that bettors and fans expected it to be. It looked like the Nuggets were slightly favored going into the series but the Jazz have taken the quick lead behind the perfect performance of Donovan Mitchell. As long as Mitchell continues to soar, the Nuggets defense won’t have an answer for him. Also, Utah’s chemistry has just been amazing throughout the entirety of the NBA bubble.

The Over in this one can be taken with no questions asked. These two teams definitely know how to score the ball and do it well. They have both been able to hit the Over in all of the three games played so far in the series and will look to do so once more in Game 4.
