Patrick Corbin

  • Monday presents a full slate of baseball action including the Washington Nationals (-120) against the New York Mets (+100).
  • Elsewhere, the Atlanta Braves (+130) continue their series against the Philadelphia Phillies (-150) and the Los Angeles Dodgers (-158) face the San Diego Padres (+138).

LAS VEGAS – The baseball season is fully back in swing as teams are beginning to separate in the standings across the MLB.

While teams like the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers have been dominant, there is still an opportunity for anyone to rise to the top in this short 60-game season.

Monday features a full menu of baseball action from across the country, with ten games taking place.

With so much betting action to work with, we found seven of the best baseball bets to take a closer look at.

MLB – 7:10 p.m. ET

  • Washington Nationals -120
  • New York Mets +100

The defending champion Nationals continue their series against the Mets tonight where Patrick Corbin will take the mound against Steven Matz.

While Matz has been the Mets’ best option behind deGrom, he has still struggled this season and remains winless with a 5.65 ERA. Meanwhile, Corbin has been electric for the Nats, holding a 3.00 ERA that benefitted from eight strikeouts against the Mets last Tuesday.

Look for Corbin to have another great game as the Nationals take care of the Mets.

MLB – 6:05 p.m. ET

  • Atlanta Braves +130
  • Philadelphia Phillies -150

The Atlanta Braves picked up two wins yesterday against the Phillies when the two clubs ran a doubleheader with seven-inning games.

Ronald Acuna Jr appears to have woken up after a slow start, hitting three home runs across the two games yesterday.

Nevertheless, the Phillies get the edge here due to the pitching matchup between Aaron Nola and Sean Newcomb. While Nola is the much better arm, the Braves with plus money is a great value.

MLB – 9:40 p.m. ET

  • San Diego Padres +138
  • Los Angeles Dodgers -158

The LA Dodgers look to continue their winning ways against the San Diego Padres and Fernando Tatis Jr. tonight.

Tatis Jr. has been one of the best players in baseball this season and will look to continue his power-hitting against Dustin May.

Betting against the Dodgers is always dangerous, with tonight as no exception.

May struck out eight in six innings in his last matchup against the Padres and will look to paint the corners again tonight.

MLB – 7:30 p.m. ET

  • Tampa Bay Rays -145
  • Boston Red Sox +110

The Rays have been one of the better teams in baseball this season and begin their series with the Boston Red Sox tonight.

The Rays looked very solid this last weekend against the Yankees and are getting big money despite losing to the Red Sox twice last week. Look for Tampa to get a win to start the series.

MLB – 7:10 p.m. ET

  • Chicago White Sox -150
  • Detroit Tigers +130

Another case of a much better team against inferior competition in this one as the White Sox takes on the Tigers.

While their records don’t show it, the White Sox have been playing some of the best baseball in the league so far this year.

Dallas Keuchel takes on a Tigers team that strikes out the third-most in the MLB at 10.73 times per game.

While Keuchel is more of a groundball pitcher, he still racked up eight K’s in his last start and will look to continue that trend in a favorable matchup.

MLB – 9:40 p.m.

  • Oakland Athletics -130
  • Los Angeles Angels +110

Sticking with another legal sports betting favorite, as the A’s take on the Angels.

While the Angels have had flashes of brilliance this season, they are simply not as consistent as the A’s have been in run production.

Former Braves pitcher Julio Teheran is taking the mound for LA after being shelled in his last start. Look for Teheran to have some hesitation tonight.

MLB – 8:10 p.m. ET

  • Minnesota Twins -110
  • Milwaukee Brewers -110

The biggest toss-up of the day is the game between the Brewers and the Twins.

Both of these neighboring ballclubs are stacked with talent, but in the case of the Twins, simply haven’t been able to win games.

The Twins have dropped four straight and are far too good of a team to continue that downward slope.

Look for Minnesota to get a bounce-back win tonight.
