ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Scientific Games, an international leader in providing sports wagering products, is looking to make bigger strides in the US sports betting industry. Earlier this week, the company launched it’s newest product, Match HQ.

Match HQ is a new type of scoreboard that integrates real-time data to help bettors make more informed decisions. The data is presented as a scoreboard widget, but information that it could contain includes play-by-play animation, in-play team and payer statistics, commentary, and more.

Match HQ will be used for both American and European sports matches and will integrate directly with Scientific Games’ OpenSports product suite.

“We’re ramping up our US sports betting presence with the launch of Match HQ under the OpenSports umbrella, and this is a big win,” said Keith O’Loughlin, SVP Sportsbook for SG Digital in a press release sent out by Scientific Games.

“More importantly, we’re shaping the betting experience to be seamless and intuitive for the end user. When punters have this information at their fingertips, it makes for a better experience, plain and simple.”

Caesars Entertainment, who signed a partnership deal with Scientific Games last year, has already implemented the new technology into their products.
